90% of Your Followers Missed it : Post it Again!
Hey guys. It’s Arvin.
So here’s what happened the other day.
It was around 3:17 PM.
I was at my desk, staring at five open tabs, toggling between them like something important was about to happen.
I picked up my phone and started scrolling.
X (Twitter). Instagram. Then back to X (Twitter) like something might’ve changed in the last 30 seconds.
Then I opened my old posts. And there it was.
A tweet I posted months ago.
It had great engagement, reached a lot of people, and I remember thinking, “Damn, this one really hit.”
And then I never mentioned it again.
Why did I never post about this again?
I thought, staring at it like it owed me money.
Then the voice in my head kicked in:
“Because you already said it. Don’t repeat yourself. People will get bored.”
At first, I almost believed it. Like yeah, maybe it’s old news. Maybe people would roll their eyes.
But then I laughed.
Because honestly? That thought is hilarious.
90% of the people who follow me now weren’t even around when I posted that.
And the rest? They probably forgot it.
Like, when I think about it, I don’t even remember what other people posted months ago.
Even the ones I follow religiously and read every single post. It just fades.
Because they’re not obsessing over my content the way I am. No one is.
That’s both depressing and freeing.
Squeeze, Don’t Start Over
Here’s the thing:
You don’t need to create more. You need to squeeze more out of what you’ve already got.
Most people think content creation is a volume game. More posts, more videos, more everything.
But it’s not about volume.
You don’t win by saying 100 different things.
You win by saying one thing 100 different ways.
Say it again. Say it like a joke.
Say it differently. Say it with a story. Say it as a spicy hot take.
Say it so your grandma would get it.
Repetition isn’t boring. It’s branding.
The Audience Attention Span Hack
Here’s a brutal truth most creators don’t want to hear:
Your audience has the memory of a goldfish.
Not an insult. Just facts.
Most people are drowning in content.
They’re scrolling at light speed, catching maybe 2% of what crosses their screen.
That viral post you spent hours crafting?
Chances are, it got a quick glance and then. Poof. Gone.
This isn’t about how good your content is. It’s about how human attention works.
So when you create something genuinely valuable? Something that made people stop and think?
You don’t just get one shot. You get multiple shots.
Your job isn’t to constantly reinvent the wheel. Your job is to make sure the wheel actually gets seen.
Remix. Repeat. Reframe.

The Archive Dive
Open your old posts
Sort by highest engagement
Look for posts that:
Got crazy likes
Sparked conversations
Made people screenshot and share
Angle Shifts (pick one)
Use different POV
Make it a hot take
Add a personal story
Challenge a common belief
Turn a statement into a question
Execute and post it like it’s brand new
Take Away
Take that post you made last month that people loved.
Go pull it back up. Rewrite it from a new angle.
Give your ideas legs. Let them walk around a bit.
Because the people who saw it the first time? Probably forgot it.
And the people who didn’t see it? They never had the chance.
So if you’re sitting there thinking, “I have no idea what to post this week…”
You’re not out of ideas. You’re just bored of your own voice.
Alright. Now…
What’s one post you made that you should totally bring back from the dead?
Hope you have an amazing day.

Question from Fitria:
“Hi Arvin! I’m planning to start a small café business. In your opinion, what’s the best digital marketing approach?”
If you’re just starting out, I’d focus on branding first.
For B2C, start with socials.
If you’ve got budget you’re okay burning (no guaranteed sales), run some ads.
If not, just go hard on organic content.
If you’ve got a physical space, local influencers work well.
Find smaller ones nearby and offer a simple barter deal.
Promos? Still important! Just make sure the math works.
And storytelling? Super underrated. Use it.
People buy the vibe, not just the coffee.
